Abstract:
This study examines the influence of innovative work behavior on intergenerational work values, emphasizing the role of knowledge-sharing and digital leadership in enhancing workplace innovation. The research focuses on identifying generational differencesin work values and leveraging these differences to improve organizational performance. A sample of 357 employees from manufacturing industries in Central Java, East Java, and West Java was analyzed using PLS-SEM. Findings indicate that intergenerational work values, knowledge-sharing practices, and digital leadership significantly influence innovative work behavior. Furthermore, digital leadership mediates the relationship between intergenerational work values, knowledge-sharing, and innovative behavior. These results underscore the critical role of digital leadership in fostering innovation and adapting to generational diversity. The study offers practical insights for organizations to implement strategies that enhance innovation by optimizing knowledge-sharing systems, managing generational differences, and cultivating digital leadership. Socially, this research supports the development of an inclusive work environment that fosters intergenerational collaboration and innovation. Limitations include its focus on the manufacturing sector and specific predictors, suggesting opportunities for further research in diverse industries and additional factors. This study provides a comprehensive model for understanding and enhancing innovative work behavior, offering valuable guidance for organizational leaders in the digital era.
